Elementary II Program

Enrollment: 12-15 Students

Hours: 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Tuition: $5700.00 per student

The Montessori Day School Elementary II program is academically challenging and requires self-motivation, self-discipline and sustained self-directed study. The curriculum includes advanced studies in grammar, spelling, history, geography, political science, the natural sciences, research, composition and creative writing. Electives to the program include music, art, physical education, foreign language and chess.

The holistic Montessori theory of Cosmic Education is applied, uniting the child to the physical and cultural beauty of the world. Students spend time in the garden applying classroom lessons to the natural world.

In meeting the full needs of the child, we must remember that each individual is a whole and complete spiritual being with his or her own unique purpose in this life. While we do not teach religion, this program will foster spiritual growth and development throughout the curriculum.

Parental involvement in the Elementary II program is highly valued and is considered vital to the fulfillment of the curriculum.
